Alfredo Sauce

This garlic parmesan alfredo sauce is rich and creamy and loaded with flavor. It's super easy to make, ready in 15 minutes or less, and perfect for pasta!

Ingredients

For the Pasta:

  • 16 ounces Pasta Dry Weight*

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • ½ cup Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Crushed Garlic
  • 1 ½ cups Heavy Cream
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Oregano
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 cups Parmesan Cheese Freshly Grated

For Serving:

Instructions

  • Put your pasta on to cook according to package instructions. When it's cooked, drain and rinse and set aside.
  • Add butter to a pot and let it melt on medium heat.
  • Add crushed garlic and let it toast in the butter briefly.
  • Add heavy cream and bring the sauce to a simmer, stirring all the time.
  • Add garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper and whisk it in.
  • Add freshly grated parmesan cheese and stir it in.
  • Keep stirring until the parmesan has melted into the sauce.
  • Add the cooked pasta and fold it into the sauce.
  • Serve topped with fresh chopped parsley and a sprinkle of ground black pepper.

Notes

  1. Pasta. You can use any kind of pasta you like but fettucine and tagliatelle are great options. 
  2. Storing and Freezing: Keep leftover sauce stored in the fridge and enjoy within 4-5 days. It's not recommended for freezing.
