Nutella blondies are buttery and soft, loaded with butterscotch flavor and white chocolate chips, and the topping is melted swirled Nutella!

Love Nutella? Then you are going to LOVE these Nutella blondies.
The base recipe is a classic blondie recipe based on our best blondies recipe, and we took a little inspo from our biscoff blondies in doing the Nutella swirl over the top.
The result is simply perfection! You get that gorgeous butterscotch flavor from the blondies that perfectly complements the Nutella swirled over the top.
They are decadent, ultra delicious and super easy to make too.

Ingredients You’ll Need:

Ingredient Notes
- Large eggs and an egg yolk – this recipe uses two large eggs and a single separated egg yolk.
- All purpose flour – make sure to measure this correctly, either using a food scale or the ‘spoon and level‘ method. Spoon the flour into your measuring cup and then level off the top with the back of a knife.
- Cornstarch – assists in keeping these blondies deliciously soft and tender.
- Light brown sugar – you could also use dark brown sugar but just keep in mind that your blondies will be much darker in color.

How To Make Nutella Blondies
Full instructions and measurements can always be found in the recipe card at the bottom of the post. This is a summary of the process to go along with the process photos.
- Add melted butter and light brown sugar to a mixing bowl and whisk them together.

- Add eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each egg is added, and then add the egg yolk and vanilla extract and stir it well.

- In a separate bowl, sift all purpose flour and add cornstarch, baking powder and salt and mix together.

- Slowly add the dry ingredients in with the wet and stir in until just combined. Don’t overmix.

- Add white chocolate chips and fold them in.

- Transfer the blondie batter to a 9×9 square dish (sprayed with non-stick spray and lined with parchment paper so that there is overhang on either side for easy removal) and smooth down.
- Add Nutella to a microwave safe bowl and microwave in 15-second intervals, bringing it out to stir every 15-seconds until melted. It will still be quite thick. Use a teaspoon to drizzle it over the top of the blondies.

- Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes until the top looks dry and set.

- Leave them to cool completely in the pan and then use the parchment paper overhang to lift them out of the pan.
- Cut them into squares.

- Your Nutella blondies are ready to serve!

Baker’s Tips
Don’t overmix the batter. Once the dry ingredients are added, don’t overmix. Too much mixing will cause your blondies to be dense and tough instead of soft and tender. This is also why we mix it with a spoon and not in the stand mixer.
Make it in a 9×13 baking dish. If you prefer to make these Nutella blondies in a 9×13 baking dish then you can, they will just be thinner. Baking time will reduce to around 25 minutes.

Storing and Freezing
Store your blondies in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 days or in the fridge for up to a week. They store really well in the fridge so it’s great for when you’d like to have them around a bit longer.
They are freezer friendly for up to 3 months. Let them cool completely before freezing. Let them thaw overnight in the fridge.
