Ingredient Notes
- Lemon juice – must be freshly squeezed.
- Garlic – crushed garlic cloves soak in the fresh lemon juice for a couple of minutes which removes the bite while keeping all the flavor.
- Mayonnaise – should be a full fat, rich, creamy mayonnaise for best results.
- Dijon mustard – adds loads of flavor.
- Fresh dill – 1 tablespoon of fresh dill provides heaps of flavor for this dip. If you can only get hold of dried dill then you can use 2 teaspoons of dried dill instead.
- Salt – we only use ¼ teaspoon of salt but you’re free to omit it if you prefer, or add it to taste.
